Security Command Centers

Unfortunately, security for schools and business’s is essential in today’s world. The Home Resource Center a Michigan Shelf company in Warren, MI developed an economical room that can house security personnel and equipment with the latest technology in one central location. The Command center can be built with-in 7 days featuring your school colors or matching your business decor.

  1. Concept: Custom size and design based on individual needs. A Computer rendering with detailed specifications.
  2. Structure: The structure is built on site and wired per specifications for the required equipment.
  3. Wall Panels: The wall panels are made with wood and laminate built in our factory. They are then brought to the site and securely attached to the structure. Use your school colors for the wall panels.
  4. Glass Windows: We use 1/4" tempered glass on all feasible sides for greater visibility.  The window frames are painted to the specifications.
  5. Reception Window: A sliding reception window is recommended for visitors to sign in.
  6. Countertops:  The countertops are built using laminated wood with a matching color to the wall panels.
Concept:
Pictured  below, is a computerized drawing showing in detail the exact size and layout with the number of monitors and security personnel needed.




Structure:
Built on site and wired for the appropriate number of monitors and computers needed




Wall Panels:
Built using “Wilsonart” laminate. The laminate comes in hundreds of colors and can be easily cleaned on a regular basis. Painted drywall would show wear and tear especially in schools and high traffic area’s
Glass Windows:
Glass windows are tempered glass and used on all sides of the command center. We use as much of the wall area as possible with glass sections for greater visibility so the personnel can be as vigilant as possible.

Reception Window:
Next to the door is a locking sliding window so visitors and guest can sign the visitors sign-in sheet.
The entry door has a locking handle to keep your personnel safe and when unoccupied, keep your equipment safe


Countertops:
Deep countertops are used to accommodate the monitors and computers needed. They are custom built with wire containing pass through holes allowing the electrical wires to easily connect with the various components.

  2. FREE in-home  design with one of our highly trained designers. They can bring sample cabinet doors and various selections right to your house and even design and quote your kitchen during the visit.
  3. Make an appointment at our showroom. Bring your kitchen dimensions and we can give you an estimated cost and plan.
  4. If you decide to take advantage of our full service, we can have our trained technitions install your new kitchen or bath cabinets.  We will even remove your old kitchen and re-hook up your appliances and plumbing.

Another beautiful custom closet installed


The Home Resource Center just completed another beautiful closet in South Lyon Michigan.


The floor to ceiling custom built closet features base molding and crown molding butted to the ceiling. The entire closet has a rich cherry finish.

All the sweater and shoe shelves are behind full length raised panel doors.




Corner shelves utilize the otherwise waisted unusable space complete with a custom door.


On the back wall a hutch is is utilized with the drawers being 20" deep while the shelving is at 14" deep with doors to keep the clothing dust free.


The left side of the closet features a double hutch with a counter top above the drawers. The top two drawers have elegant velvet lined jewelry Compartments.

The bottom two drawers are designated for hanging files.







The built in ironing board features a mirror on its door. This allows the maximum utilization of space by combining the ironing board and full length mirror.




A closet with-in the closet under the stairs became the shoe closet with teared down shelving units complete with raised panel doors.
